What's for Dinner - Beef Stroganoff

What's better than coming home to a meal already made in a slow cooker? Having your hubby do the meal! A girl could get used to this not cooking stuff - just saying.

This recipe came from the All Recipes website. I get a lot of dinners from there. It's a great starting place and then you can tweak it to make it your own.

When we first got married, we used to have Beef Stroganoff often. However, it was the Hamburger Helper version and not very healthy. It was cheap and fairly tasty, so it worked for us. Now that we are grown up, I have been hoping to find a more grown-up version which is just as simple to make. This one needs a little more tweaking, but it was pretty good.  Needed more seasoning and I'm not sure I like the cream cheese versus sour cream. It definitely made it heartier, but I'm a fan of sour cream.

  1. In a slow cooker, combine the meat, soup, onion, Worcestershire sauce and water.
