Teacher Appreciation Week - Day 2

If you haven't figured it out yet, this year's gifts have a theme. Do you see it now? Just to throw you off, when I finish with K2 teacher gifts I will be switching themes on you.  I like to keep you guessing. Another super easy, super quick, super cute gift that even your kid can make for his/her teacher. All you need is some scrapbook paper, a clear plastic standing frame, some Post-it Notes, and some Mod Podge.   Keep in mind that you want to use the stand to prop up the notes so that your teacher can write on it.  Put the stand at the top instead of at the bottom. Did you know that they make Pop-up Post-its?  I didn't.  They don't work as well for this project, so just get the regular ones.  Ignore the photo above and pretend I made the right selection. Teacher Appreciation Week - Day 1

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, which is fast approaching, I'm going to detour from my normal posting schedule. Instead, I'll be sharing with you the projects I am working on for my kids' schools. Somewhere in there I'm also supposed to come up with a Wedding Cake for a Romeo and Juliet Party, but I'll cross that bridge when I get there. First up - Scissors! What  teacher doesn't need scissors? I know mine disappear all the time. With this little project, your teacher will have their own personalized set of shears to admire. This is a super easy and inexpensive gift that is also very useful.  All you need is some scissors, Mod Podge, and some scrapbook paper. Cut out the paper to match the blade. Apply a layer of Mod Podge. Place the paper on top of the paste. Apply another layer of Mod Podge on top of the paper. Let dry and then repeat on other side. That's it.
