This was a lot bigger than I had imagined. We were told that the kids would have a lot of waiting time and to have a book for them to read. Really? Just how long would that last? I had another idea.
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, we were already planning on what to do for the card exchange. I found this darling idea on Pinterest.

Friendship Bracelet Valentine |
Cute, huh? But making friendship bracelets can take forever and can be frustrating. Pinterest to the rescue again! I found this tutorial and thought it would even be easy enough for the kids.

Bracelet Tutorial |
It was a huge hit with the kids! Even her classmate made his own bracelet. Who would have thought they would put their electronic handheld games away for this? And for four hours, this kept them busy while waiting. Score!

We find out tomorrow who the winners are, but we already celebrated our winner with a late lunch.
