We are so fortunate to live in Florida where we get some of the best fruit ever. Not only do we get to eat it, but there are lots of places where you can go pick it, too. My parents used to have an abandoned blueberry farm behind their house, in Georgia, and we would go pick from there. However, because those bushes weren't maintained, they were quite tall and unruly. That farm is now gone and has been replaced with houses, so no more free berries for us. Instead, we found a cute, little family farm to take the kids to pick blueberries back home in Plant City, Florida. The biggest draw we had to this particular farm was that they are a family farm that loves kids to visit. Proctor Family Farm is clean, well-maintained, and the people are very friendly.
